EXCHANGING OR RETURNING AN ITEM
We allow returns or exchanges up to 14 days after the date of delivery. Returns or exchanges requested after this window cannot be processed. Return label must be scanned by the carrier within 14 calendar days of item delivery date.
Items must be returned or exchanged in original condition and include the garment with all accessories, all items of the garment (especially if the style is a set), bust pads, original garment hangtag and poly bag. Exchange items must be returned and received at our warehouse prior to shipment of new goods.
Please note that we will not be able to process a refund or credit if the merchandise is found to be damaged, missing pieces or components, or shows signs of wear, staining or odor.
Return shipping is complimentary. Shipping costs on the original order (which include taxes) are not refundable. Refunds are issued to the original payment method on the order, which may include gift cards if one was used. If the items are eligible for return, you will have the option to refund your order to a gift card and receive a bonus credit in our returns portal.
If store credit is selected in the returns portal, we will not be able to reverse this choice.
You will receive a refund for the return within 10 business days of arrival at our warehouse.
Items discounted 50% or more from the original price may be marked as final markdown in the product description and may be returned for store credit only.
Items purchased on Final Sale are not eligible for return, exchange, or store credit. Gift cards are always final sale. No exceptions.
Change of Scenery monitors account activity and reserves the right to refuse transactions, assess fees, and/or close accounts based on order or returns behavior. Customers with three or more returns within a six month period will be charged shipping and return fees for future orders.
RETURNING SWIMWEAR AND APPAREL
Returned swimwear and women’s and girls’ apparel must be unworn, unwashed, and unaltered, and must be sent back with all original tags, protective liners (swimwear), and packaging intact.
Items showing any signs of wear—including deodorant, makeup, perfume, or other stains or markings—will not be accepted for return if they cannot be restored to a resellable condition. All items are inspected upon return, and eligibility will be determined by the Change of Scenery team.
PRODUCT PACKAGING
If your return item does not contain all its original packaging it was sent with, the item will be subject to an additional 8% restocking fee that will be deducted from your refund or exchange. This includes any accessory branded packaging, gift with purchase, removed or missing tags.
HOW TO START A RETURN OR EXCHANGE
Locate the Order Number on your packing slip, or the Order Number in your Order Confirmation Email, and the ship to zip code. Your items must fall under the allotted return policy time of 14 days from delivery.

You will be guided through a quick and easy exchange or return process.
When you request a return or exchange, you will receive a confirmation email with your pre-paid return packing label. If you do not receive an email, please contact us at hello@shopchangeofscenery.com.
Box and ship your return or exchange items using the prepaid label that was sent to your email. Once we receive and inspect the item we will issue your refund or store credit, or send your exchange to you. Processing times take up to 10 business days.
FREE AND EASY EXCHANGES
Let us swap it for another size! Contact us and our fit experts will help you find your perfect size and style. We want you to feel comfortable and sexy in your new styles, which is why our exchanges are easy and free. You’ll be heading off to your Change of Scenery in no time.
Want to exchange your purchase for another item? Follow the steps below:
- Go to our Return Portal to begin the process. You will need your Order Number and the ship to zip code you used at checkout.
- Select the item you want to exchange within the return portal.
- Once you provide your return reason select "Exchange for something Similar" and pick the size and/or color you would like to exchange the item for.
- Box and ship your return using the prepaid label that was sent to your email.
- Once we receive and inspect the item we will send your exchange to you. Processing times will take 5-10 business days.
RETURN FOR STORE CREDIT ONLY
Certain items which are discounted 50% of more are eligible to returned for store credit only. This will always be indicated in the unique product description.
FINAL SALE
Final markdown items may be returned within 14 days of delivery for exchange or store credit only. Refunds are not available. This information is noted on the product page, checkout page, and your order confirmation email.
Items marked down more than 50% will be clearly identified on the product page and in your order confirmation email as either final markdown or eligible for exchange or store credit only.
Gift cards are always final sale with no exceptions.
LATE RETURNS
Returns must be requested within 14 calendar days of the date the item was received. Late returns are not accepted for refund, exchange, or store credit. No exceptions.
When you request a return, you will receive a confirmation email that our customer service team is reviewing your return. If you do not receive an email, please contact us at hello@shopchangeofscenery.com.
SHIPPING MULTIPLE RETURNS
Please ship returns using only the corresponding return label generated through Guest Returns or from your account for the item(s) associated with your original order. If you have multiple returns, we appreciate if you can combine them into one package and ship with one return label. Please contact us if this is the case.
REFUND STATUS
To check the status of your return, track your return using the tracking number on the return label that was provided to you in the return authorization email. Orders are refunded within 10 business days of delivery at our warehouse. You will receive an automated email when your return has reached our warehouse, and another email when the refund has been credited. Please allow your bank 3-10 business days to return the funds to your original method of payment. If 10 business days have passed since your return was delivered to our warehouse, please email hello@shopchangeofscenery.com and we’ll be happy to assist further.
GIFT RETURNS
To return a gift, please email us at hello@shopchangeofscenery.com and provide your order number if you have it. The gifter will never know that you returned your gift.
Customer Service will issue a return label to the gift recipient for the item to be returned for an online gift card. Return shipping is complimentary.
FAULTY GOODS
Change of Scenery is committed to an exceptional level of design and craftsmanship. All merchandise is inspected for quality prior to shipment; however, there may be rare occasions when a defective item is shipped. If any product in your order has arrived damaged in any way, please contact us in order to rectify the situation.
The customer is responsible for contacting our Customer Service team within 72 hours after the package was delivered to put in a claim for a damaged piece — include your Order Number, 2-3 images of the faulty product, and a description of the damaged piece.
If a return is received with a piece that is deemed used, worn, or damaged and there was no previous communication that it arrived in anything but perfect condition, we will not be able to process a refund or credit for the product. In this case, the customer is responsible for the cost of the return shipping label and for providing the return shipping label to us.
Where possible, we offer to repair faulty items. If we cannot repair it, and you would like to exchange your item, please be aware that we can only replace it for the same product in the same size, subject to inventory availability. You will receive a refund if item is deemed faulty and it cannot be repaired or replaced.
Please note that damages as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty.
LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES
Change of Scenery is not responsible for any lost, missing or stolen packages during transit/delivery that show successful delivery to the order address. Please contact the carrier and file a claim. However, please email us at hello@shopchangeofscenery.com and we will try our best to partner with you and the carrier to locate your package.

EXCESSIVE RETURNS
Change of Scenery monitors account activity and reserves the right to refuse transactions, assess fees, and/or close accounts based on order or return behavior. Customers with three returns within a two-month period, or who return more than eight items from a single order, may be charged shipping and return fees for future orders.

Our goal is to deliver your order as quickly as possible. Shopping with confidence is important to us. Please read below to understand when your order should be expected, as well as our policy on returns and exchanges.
US SHIPPING
Change of Scenery is pleased to offer free domestic standard ground shipping throughout the continental U.S. on orders of $100+. Orders will be shipped pending product availability from our warehouse in New York.
- Ground orders totaling less than $100 will incur a $10 shipping fee.
- Please note that ground shipping is estimated 3-7 business days.

*Expedited shipping methods do not deliver on Saturdays or Sundays. Orders placed between 12 pm EST Thursday and 11:59 am EST Friday will be delivered by Tuesday for express shipping. Orders placed between 1 2pm EST Friday and 11:59 am Monday EST will be delivered by Wednesday for 2-day shipping.

DELIVERY TIMING
Orders are processed and delivered on business days Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. A business day is Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm EST. Please allow 1-2 business days for processing.
Once your package has been fulfilled, an email will be sent confirming the tracking number.
- Orders are shipped from our warehouse in New York.
- If you need an order shipped in a certain timeframe, need to change your shipping method, or need to make any adjustments on your shipment please email us at hello@shopchangeofscenery.com immediately after placing your order and we will try our best to accommodate you.
- If an order has already shipped, we cannot make any adjustments.
- Please note, we do not fulfill orders over the weekend.
- Change of Scenery cannot be held responsible for unanticipated delays due to inclement weather or other unforeseen transit delays.
OVERNIGHT DELIVERY CUT-OFF TIME
We ask that customers place their order by 12pm ET, Monday through Friday, to guarantee Express delivery for in-stock items. Orders placed after 12pm ET will ship the next business day, which may affect the ultimate delivery date. Orders placed for pre-order items with expedited shipping methods will ship via the selected method once the product becomes available.
SATURDAY DELIVERY
We do not deliver on Saturdays and are unable to arrange Saturday delivery at this time.
UPDATING SHIPPING METHOD
Shipping method must be selected at the time of checkout. We are unable to upgrade shipping once an order has been placed.
PREORDER SHIPPING
Items that display Preorder on their product page are currently available for purchase, but not yet ready to ship. Please refer to the message on the product page for shipping date estimations. If your order contains a pre-order item, the in-stock items will ship immediately and the pre-order items will ship when available. If you would like us to hold your entire order until all items are available, please email us at hello@shopchangeofscenery.com immediately after placing your order.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
If you would like to place an international order, please contact us at hello@shopchangeofscenery.com and we can arrange shipping at actual shipping cost. Orders outside of the continental United States are not eligible for free shipping or returns.
DELIVERY SIGNATURE
Orders are shipped with no signature requirement for delivery. To request a signature requirement, please email hello@shopchangeofscenery.com with your order confirmation / PO Number immediately after placing your order and we will do our best to assist, pending the order’s current processing status at the time your request is reviewed.
WAREHOUSE HOLIDAYS
Change of Scenery Fulfillment and Customer Service Center will be closed on all National holidays.
